Local Food Recommendations (Hauula & La'ie)
-Polynesian Cultural Center has a shopping center with a variety of restaurants and food trucks (CLOSED ON SUNDAY) -Coffee Cove - Great spot in Hauula for coffee and acai bowls -Foodland - Grocery store in Lai'e (Also great Poke!) -Papa Ole - Traditional Hawaiian Plate Lunch/BBQ -Da Bald Guy - Traditional Hawaiian Plate Food Truck further North in Kahuku
Crouching Lion Trailhead (Puʻu Manamana)
This is an awesome hike near the wedding venue, that has great ocean views and of Mokoli'i. This hike has moderate difficulty and will take you about 2 hours to hike up and down.
Kualoa Ranch
Enjoy touring the mountain range on Kualoa Ranch. With excursions like ATV & Horse-back riding, this makes for a great day trip near the wedding venue.
North Shore - Haleʻiwa
The North Shore of Oahu is filled with beautiful beaches, shops, and restaurants. We love making the trip up to Haleiwa for days full of diving, eating, and relaxing at the beach.
Lanikai Pillbox Hike and Beach
This is one of our favorite hikes, that is intermediate difficulty on the East Side! Take a hike up the ridge to get a grand view of the Mokuleia and Mokunui islands. After the hike, head down the hill and head back to Lanikai Beach or Kailua Beach to cool down! (Note that parking can be difficult in this area during high traffic hours)
Koko Head Hike
If you're looking for a workout and want a hike with epic views, checkout Koko Head! Straight up and down with about 1,200 steps, this hike will have you huffin and puffin! One of our favorites!
