Flight
For our guests flying to the UK from abroad, the nearest airport is London Stansted (there are regular Ryanair flights from Frankfurt Airport). Cambridge can be reached from Stansted by a 40 minute train departing regularly throughout the day.
Flight
If you would like to combine our wedding with a trip to London, Cambridge can be reached within 2 hours with public transport from all other London airports.
Train
If you are coming from London, the London-Cambridge express runs twice an hour from London Kings Cross (feel free to stop off and see Harry Potter's 9 and 3/4!), taking around 40 minutes and costing roughly 18-20 GBP each way.
Hotel
If you would like the full Cambridge experience, this website lets you search for and book rooms in Cambridge colleges. The rates are typically much better compared to other hotels in town.

Travel Note
Uber is now available in Cambridge but sometimes availability can be tough as there aren't that many drivers. We also recommend these taxi firms: Panther Taxis: +44 1223 715715 Cambridge City Taxis: +44 1223 832832
Travel Note
Parking can be difficult in the city centre, and there is no parking available at Magdalene College. If you are driving, please check with your hotel if they provide parking. If you don't have hotel parking, we recommend the Cambridge Park & Ride System. You can park for free for up to 18 hours at one of 5 sites (please see the link for more information), then get a quick bus into town for 3 GBP return. There are also group deals on offer if there are more than five people travelling into town together. If you need to park for more than 18 hours (which we assume most of you will), the charges are: 18 - 24 hours £10 24 - 48 hours £20 48 - 72 hours £30
