They both worked for the same company, but in two different divisions. Mehdi was in sales and Victoria worked in recruiting. They had met multiple times but neither of them were looking for a relationship. That all changed when they ran into each other downtown one evening. They both love to dance and ended up dancing all night. Over the next several months they spent every moment together and fell head over heels in love. Sushi dates, evenings out, and hours of Game of Thrones later... They knew they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together.

Victoria never wanted a public proposal, and Mehdi came up with the perfect way to make it special. On Sept 28, 2018 Mehdi planned for Victoria to spend time with her friends after work. She had a feeling something was going on but wasn't for sure. She and her friend returned home to have some wine. While they were sitting on the couch the TV switched screens and a video started. It was a montage of pictures from the beginning of their relationship as well as a video from each of her family members and closest friends. Victoria of course was crying. As the video ended it told her to meet him out by the fire pit. She followed the rose pedals to Mehdi where he got down one knee and asked her to marry him. Victoria said yes! She was so excited and in shock of how beautiful her ring was. Mehdi lead her to the clubhouse where her family and friends were waiting to celebrate.
