The park is officially being funded through the 2nd of November so we will be pressing with the Appalachian Clubhouse and Spence Cabin area. The ceremony will be at the Spence Cabin at 1:00pm you will most likely be parking at the Appalachian Clubhouse since that is where most of the parking is located. From there you can walk to the Spence Cabin (which is a little under a quarter mile). Once the ceremony is over the reception will be immediately following at the Appalachian Clubhouse.
Semi-formal, however be sure to dress for the weather. We also highly discourage high heels.

Please be prepared for the weather, currently it is looking like highs in the 70s but could be cooler in the mountains. The Appalachian Clubhouse does not have heat.
Please be ready for extended drive times. October is an extremely busy time for the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and it may be congested once within the park. The current drive time, with no traffic, is about 30 minutes from the park entrance near Gatlinburg to the Appalachian Clubhouse. With traffic is could easily take much much longer to get to the venue.
All, please be aware that Black Bears are very common within the Gatlinburg area and within the park. Be sure you remain at a safe distance. Visit https://bearwise.org/ for more information on helpful tips regarding bears.
Parking is extremely limited at the park venue. You need to ride with at least 5 people per vehicle to maximize the space we have allocated. There are only so many designated spots at our destination, all other parking available to the public and is first come first served. Most of the parking we have reserved is located at the Appalachian Clubhouse, there are also some spaces available near the Spence Cabin.
Be aware that cellular service is limited if non-existent once you enter the park.
