Our Love StoryOur Love Story

The couple first connected over FaceTime through a mutual friend. Although they had briefly crossed paths at a friend's party before, the timing had never been right to start a conversation. After their first FaceTime call ended, Lewis chose to visit the mutual friend's shop, where Victoria was spending time, so they could continue their conversation in person. From that moment, their bond grew quickly. What began as a lively conversation turned into a meaningful friendship as they discovered how much they had in common, from family values to shared life experiences. Late-night talks, collaborative projects, and unwavering support for each other strengthened their connection even more. They attended Mardi Gras balls, joined each other's family events, and created memories filled with joy and laughter. Their love story took a romantic turn during a day trip to Noccalula Falls in Gadsden, Alabama. What started as a simple outing that included walking through the park, feeding animals, riding the train, and enjoying Victoria's key lime popsicle soon became unforgettable. Lewis paused at the picturesque bridge, famous for its tradition of couples securing locks marked with their initials to honor a love meant to last forever. At that moment, he turned to Victoria and asked her to marry him. After she said yes, they placed their own red, heart-shaped lock on the bridge and made a heartfelt promise to face life's adventures together. In that moment, they knew their bond was built to withstand the test of time, distance, and every chapter still to come.
