We met at the University of Mary in 2014. We met at a dorm party and I introduced myself. It was a small campus so I would occasionally see him around and say hi. We took some of the same electives and eventually we found ourselves in the same class lecture (Anthropology) and exchanged numbers to study (though this was not necessary as it was an easy class). We remained good friends and saw each other often as our friends were in similar groups - and secretly we couldn't get enough of each other! When I had no excuse to hang out with him I would use him as my test subject for my school projects. Thankfully, I eventually got the courage to invite him over just to watch movies. In November of 2016 on a snowy day I said yes to being Layne's girlfriend! We both liked each other so much and were overjoyed! In 2019 he proposed at my hometown - Marshall Wisconsin. It caught me completely by surprise when he pulled out a ring, got down on a knee and asked for me to marry him! After that we took a kayak ride and pondered on how our lives were changed forever!
