Wedding Party

Jenny

Matron of Honor

Jenny is my little sister and my best friend, and I truly can’t imagine getting married without her by my side. She’s my favorite person to giggle with, my go‑to 6 a.m. phone call (answered occasionally), and the perfect balance to me as the introvert to my extrovert. Growing up—and even now—she’s always been the one I turn to for fashion advice and makeup tips, despite being younger and somehow always knowing better. She has helped me in more ways than she’ll ever know, and she is forever my Queen Fiddlesticks. I can’t wait to continue making our HUSBANDS' lives even more whimsical—together.

Leah

Matron of Honor

Leah and I met in college when I joined Tri Sigma, and instead of instantly becoming best friends, we started with a small fight over goldfish (actual fish)....so clearly, it was meant to be. Thankfully, we moved past that and quickly became inseparable. From late nights at 202, Hampden-Sydney, and PMD to laughing way too hard at our own jokes, we’ve made some of the best memories together. We’re still convinced everyone is lucky to know us—but I know I’m the lucky one to call Leah my best friend. I couldn’t imagine not having her as one of my matrons of honor.

Jackson

Bridesman

Jackson and I are, technically, mortal enemies! We first met my freshman year at Longwood. Despite being constantly thrown together for events and mutual friends, it took us a little while to realize we actually should be friends! By our second year (and thanks to living on the same hallway), Jackson officially completed the trio that is Leah, Jackson, and me—and the amount of laughter the three of us share should genuinely be studied. From spending an entire road trip to Leah’s bachelorette talking and laughing nonstop, to Jackson quite literally saving my life by taking the wheel on a bridge (I’m terrified, he’s brave), I couldn’t imagine this day without him. I wouldn’t have made it up there without him—and honestly, who else is going to keep me humble?!

Caren

Bridesmaid

Caren and I met in third grade—yes, third grade. As she loves to remind me, we’ve been friends for over two decades, which is both disgusting and impossible since we are clearly still only 20 years old. I practically grew up at Caren’s house (or our mutual friend’s), spending our days playing in the grassy area behind the houses, collecting “onions,” and teaming up to torment our siblings. When we went to different middle schools, we drifted apart for a bit (though I did watch her cat for her one time later in life—so clearly the bond never truly broke). We were officially reunited when I applied to work at Yorkshire, and suddenly we were back together on the same team, causing havoc once again (go 4th grade!). There is absolutely no way I could get married without Caren by my side—especially since she was the ultimate wingwoman and investigative sleuth when I was flirting with Jonta at school. Some people grow up together…we just never stopped.

Danielle

Bridesmaid

I met Danielle when I joined the fourth grade team at Yorkshire, and we immediately bonded over our shared love of all things Bravo. When we switched to departmentalizing, we were lucky enough to be paired together (though truly, there’s no bad pairing on our team), and sharing students brought us even closer. From laughing nonstop over the ridiculous things our students say and do, to yelling through the doorway about the latest chaos in the Bravoverse—hello?! Scamanda?!—there is truly never a dull moment. Danielle is the Paige to my Hannah (yes, Giggly Squad—look it up), and I couldn’t imagine this day without her by my side.

Kim

Bridesmaid

I quickly gravitated toward Kim when I started at Yorkshire because she is genuinely one of the kindest people I’ve ever met—tragically, this was before I discovered she is an Eagles fan. A truly devastating character flaw. Still, out of the goodness of my heart, I chose to overlook it and quickly realized just how incredible she actually is. Kim has been such a supportive friend and is often one of the first people I tell when anything exciting happens in my life. She keeps me laughing constantly (especially during gifted committee meetings—easily the best days ever), but also listens patiently to every complaint, rant, and minor meltdown. Eagles fandom aside, I don’t know what I’d do without her.

Dareon

Best Man

Dareon aka D not just my little brother, but my day one and my best man. Been by my side since the beginning loyal, solid, and always holding me down.

Rodney

Groomsman

Rodney and I go back to high school playing basketball, video games, and doing absolutely nothing but still having a good time. Real laid-back, and solid that’s my guy. One of my brothers from another mother and father.

Cj

Groomsman

CJ is my little brother, and although we’re 9 years apart, our bond has grown stronger over time. I’m incredibly proud of the man he’s becoming still my goofy little brother at heart.

Stephen

Groomsman

Stephen is one of my favorite people ever man, what started as a friendship on NBA 2K turned into a real brotherhood. It’s amazing to see how far he’s come, now with two kids in college. Truly proud to call him my brother.

Jay

Groomsman

Jay is like a little big brother to me. We go back to our days working in the garden center at Walmart, and since then he’s always been there checking on me and showing what true friendship looks like.

Daron

Groomsman

We met in high school. Didn’t know each other at first, but everyone was trying to start drama between us. Somehow that turned into a real brotherhood. We’ve been through everything together, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
