Miami's public transportation system isn't as robust as NYC's, but the venue being centrally located downtown and a short ride over the Venetian Causeway to Miami Beach makes a car rental completely optional. As mentioned, we aren't renting a car. Beyond the fact that Kieran hates parallel parking and paying for garages, Uber/Lyft, citibike, the trolley, the metrorail and bus all worked out well for us last time.
