Our love story is nothing short of a modern-day romance. In true millennial fashion, it began with Tinder and the promise of a free Cardi B concert. UC San Diego made top 10 nationwide on Tinder's Swipe Off Challenge, and Victoria's friends—highly motivated by free things—set up her profile and swiped away. One particular swipe stood out: Kevin’s sweet message and disarming smile. While we didn’t win the concert, we did win a first date with each other… which ultimately was the better prize! 8 years later, our family grew with one mischievous Bagel 🐈, one demure Cheese 🐈‍⬛, and one loyal Ponzu 🐕‍🦺. The Proposal: Victoria was nose deep in anatomy notes in preparation for her finals week during her 2nd year of vet school— naturally, Kevin thought it was the perfect opportunity to pop the question— sweat pants, tears, and all. Although we got hitched later that summer (for health insurance purposes 😜 because we're practical people), we decided we MUST celebrate with all our favorite people!
