Casual Wedding Attire. Nice jeans and boots are acceptable with blouses/button-downs due to the rustic country theme of the wedding. Sport coats are fine, but not required. The bride will be wearing white/light blue and the wedding party will be wearing various shades of blue. If you would like to avoid these colors, it is appreciated but not required!
Yes, absolutely. As an elementary school teacher and child therapist, we love the kiddos! We will have have a children's table set up with some watercolor painting, coloring books, and play-doh. Feel free to also bring them other activities to play with.
We are catering barbecue. This will include pork ribs, sausage, brisket as well as sides of macaroni and cheese, potato salad, green beans, pinto beans, and salad. Each bride has also chosen banana pudding for dessert, so we are having two different kinds. Please inform Victoria at (832) 362-8797 in advance if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies.
No! This is an unplugged ceremony, meaning that we kindly ask that you please put your phones away for the duration of the ceremony. We will have a paid professional photographer to be on site, and we’d hate to cause them any distractions. It is their job to capture our perfect moments. We promise to share pictures as soon as they are available, we appreciate your patience! You may take as many photos/videos as you want during the reception.
Both the ceremony and reception will take place entirely outside. The wedding is in early March, and the weather around that time varies significantly. We will have heaters on site if it is cold, but please dress accordingly so that you will be comfortable at the outdoor wedding.
