Tori and Josh grew up with a love for God and their families. They had mutual friends and were on the worship team together. They soon became friends; and while they saw each other regularly, most of their interaction took place over Snapchat. It was there that they made each other laugh with funny photos, opened up to each other about life, and made even the most ordinary days seem special. One particular day in the spring of 2018, Tori noticed Josh was acting differently when they were together. They both were were spending more time talking and thinking about each other. Tori didn’t mind the attention Josh was giving her. She knew something was definitely up when he randomly arrived at her apartment with her favorite candy, dark chocolate. It was a sweet and unexpected gesture. They sat in his car, ate chocolate, and talked for hours. They didn’t want the night to end. Shortly after, they had their first date at Chipotle and visited Belmar beach together. When they were together, food tasted better, and conversation was easy. On June 23, 2018, Josh took Tori to the Lantern Festival in Pennsylvania. They spent the day on a picnic blanket enjoying live music and good food. As it grew darker, the most beautiful sight unfolded in front of them. The sky lit up with hundreds of bright lanterns, and at that moment, Josh asked Tori to be his girlfriend. She said yes, of course! The lives of Tori and Josh became intertwined and love grew. After two years of dating, on October 7, 2020, Josh asked Tori to marry him at the Eagle Rock Reservation. Josh woke up that day knowing he was going to propose. It was spontaneous and perfect. She said yes of course! Tori and Josh have learned that adventures are more fun when shared with someone you love. They look forward to the day they are united as one and in the company of their family and closest friends. Please join them on November 13, 2021 for a celebration of love, marriage, and their biggest, most exciting adventure yet!
