Maid of Honor
Emily and I met at the ripe age of 9, and have been inseparable since. From literally growing up together, going through our wild teenage years, to now growing into mature young women, she’s been there every step of the way. She’s definitely the fashionable one of the group and always brings the vibes to every event. I’ve never once imagined my wedding day without her being a part of it. I know that she will be my best friend until the end.
Best Man
The Best Man. Conner and I go way back- we met in middle school and bonded in high school over the essentials: Wing Wednesdays and Imo’s. Since then, he’s been a loyal friend and a professional at giving me a hard time. Whether we’re out on the river, in a game, or just hanging out, he’s always been someone I can count on- and someone who never misses a chance to roast me. I couldn’t imagine this day without him by my side.
Bridesmaid
Jessica, my sweet big sister. My partner in crime from the very beginning. We’ve definitely had a roller coaster of a childhood together, but I wouldn’t have wanted to do it with anyone else. Jessica has taught me so many things in life, but what I admire the most is her genuine and kind heart, and the kind of parent I aspire to be someday.
Groomsman
Benton and I met in nursing school and became good friends when we started working together during the COVID days; nothing bonds two people like working side by side in the ICU during a global pandemic. He’s a damn good nurse, a next-level cook (his smoked meats and BBQ are unreal), and he never turns down a good beer —especially if we brewed it ourselves. Whether brewing, grilling, or catching up, he’s been one of the most dependable, kind, and down-to-earth friends I’ve got.
Bridesmaid
Sara is the perfect example of a work friend who becomes family. I was nervous to be in a new work environment but she quickly showed me how welcoming and weird she was. I knew right away this would be a lifelong friendship. She’s the friend you call when you need advice, a laugh, or someone to binge-watch all of Netflix comedy specials. I’m beyond blessed to have such an amazing friend that I know I will always be able to trust and depend on.
Groomsman
Toby and I technically met back in elementary school but we didn’t become close until high school, where we nearly died a couple of times flying down a road in his Camaro. We’ve spent many hours gaming, cruising, and talking about cars (well, he talks about them, I mostly nod). Through every high and low, he’s always had my back, and I’m proud to call him a friend.
Bridesmaid
Cailan has been one of my closest friends since high school, where we bonded over early-morning Taco Bell breakfasts before class and sneaking out of her parents’ house, often just to hang out in the garage with some friends. She is one of the kindest, smartest, and most beautiful people I know, and I’m so grateful to have her standing by my side on such an important day. It makes this even more special that her daughter, Addy, will be our flower girl!
Groomsman
Derek and I grew up together in school and became friends early in high school through way too much competition and bad ideas playing paintball. After graduation, a lot of our time was spent doing what we did best: going out with the guys for wings, food, and conversations about life and what came next. Derek has always been someone who puts his head down and works hard, and he’s consistently set a strong example through discipline, reliability, and follow-through. He’s loyal, grounded, honest, and the kind of person who shows up when it matters. Having him stand by me as a groomsman is an honor.
