Economical options to consider when purchasing flights from Southern California as of 11/11/21: Expedia: Roundtrip nonstop flights approx. $200-250 depending on travel dates not including luggage fees. Volaris: Volaris is an airline based out of Tijuana offering affordable travel throughout Mexico. When flying from US, you do not need to cross the border by car to get to the airport. . Book directly through Volaris website. www.volaris.com . Select Tijuana Cross-Border Xpress TJX as origin, SJD as destination. You will park your car in a parking lot on US side, walk across an enclosed bridge that drops you right into the airport. Parking approx. $10-15 per day. We have family members who do this often and prefer it over LAX. RT Nonstop flights approx. $110-120 depending on travel dates, not including luggage fees: approx. $30 per bag roundtrip
