What hotel should we stay in?

Answer

The 1000 Islands Harbor Hotel is the closest hotel and the only large hotel in Clayton. There are other options like air b&b or resorts (see the travel page).

How is the weather in Clayton, NY this time of year?

Answer

September is a beautiful time of year up here! With temperatures averaging in the high 60s, it does get cooler as the sun goes down.

Is the cocktail hour and reception at the same venue?

Answer

Yes! We will have an outdoor tent, lawn games, and performer outside for cocktail hour. While the reception will be inside.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! We will have a shuttle going from O’Brien’s Restaurant (across the street from the 1000 Islands Harbor Hotel) to and from the Absolute Breeze Event Center, running 2pm-12am.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is parking on the side and behind St. Mary’s church. There will also be parking areas at the venue for those driving.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! While filling out your RSVP please make your request so we can accommodate accordingly. We do have many gluten free options also!

Do I get a plus 1?

Answer

We have decided to keep our wedding day more intimate, those who are labeled on the invitation are invited. Thank you for understanding!

Can we bring our kids?

Answer

We would love to have everyone’s families there. However, we have decided to make our ceremony and reception adults-only. Thank you for understanding!
