We met at a church camp in Colo Heights NSW. I had to introduce myself to him since I was in charge of the kitchen roster. That night, we sat down and had dinner together in the dining hall and started chatting casually, but that didn't last long as my brother had interrupted us. When I thought my chances were squashed, out of random I caught him out on his own in the middle of a grass field and decided to see what he was doing. We sat for about 3 hours straight just talking and getting to know each other more and more. I even skipped out on the tarp and soap water slide happening in the background (that never happens). Ever since then we haven’t stopped talking and now we’re engaged, about to be married! My fiancé is originally from Perth and has moved down to Melbourne to be with me. I can say I'm pretty blessed!
