As mentioned prior, the state of New York has current wedding guidelines in place that doesn't allow more than 50 guest at the time. While we are hopeful this will increase and we are keeping a close eye on this development, we do not know when or if there will be an allowed increase. We will be opening RSVP ability in waves, starting with our immediate family and expanding as the state of NY allows. We will send an email to notify you of your opening in the ability to RSVP. We know this makes it very challenging for you to plan with so much uncertainty, trust us- we are in the same boat. By July 31st all RSVP's must be in as we must inform our venue and caterer of a headcount. If you have yet to see your ability to RSVP open up by then, please plan to join us via Zoom. We are incredibly sorry for any trouble this might cause. ***If you have received an RSVP ability, yet are unable to make it, please let us know immediately & plan to tune in via zoom. Thank you for your patience.
Due to the pandemic, we are having to take extra precautions and limit our guest list in ways we didn’t initially plan for. Because if this, we are asking all invited guests to please only bring those whom the invitation is addressed to. Unfortunately, additional plus ones will N O T be allowed. Trust us, we hate this as much as you do. But, we’re getting through it and looking forward to the day when all of us can share the same space with peace of mind.
We love your little ones, however, we cannot accommodate children. We want for them to remain safe away from any possible infection. We hope you will understand our decision to make the wedding children-free, and take the opportunity to let your hair down and celebrate in style! Thank you for your understanding.
While we do have recommendations that you can find under" travel and places to stay", we have chosen not to do a traditional hotel block. We know in light of COVID-19, many hotels are upping their safety precautions and making them available on their websites, which can be comforting. Yet, we understand some of you would prefer to stay in a rental to have more guaranteed space and less interaction with others. Please choose to stay wherever you feel most comfortable!
The ceremony will take place in an outdoor space, with dinner and dancing in an open barn.
We are following the State of New York COVID-19 guidelines. This is often subject to change. Despite these changes, we will be doing temperature checks at the entrance as well as REQUIRING all guest to wear a face mask during the event and produce a negative test result 72 hours within the date of the wedding. ***Note: There will be no entry to the event without a negative COVID test within 72 hours of the event for the safety of other guest. If you are feeling sick or any COVID like symptoms please refrain from attending the event- we will have a Zoom option available if you are unable to attend in person.
Festive Formal Attire – slightly less formal than “black tie,” but tuxedos or suits are appropriate for men, long or short dresses for women; feathers, velvet, and moody/flashy colors or patterns are encouraged. There are plenty of grassy areas, please keep this in mind with heels. Come dressed to impress and party!
