We're Getting Married!

At the start of 2018, with love in the air, Victoria was eagerly anticipating her senior year at NBPS and the adventures ahead. Meanwhile, James, having graduated from Stoneman Douglas, was working in Coral Springs. They were introduced through their mutual friend who had been James’s high school classmate. Their connection began modestly with Snapchat messages and occasional FaceTimes, but soon they planned a first date at a picturesque spot in the Everglades known as “Lox” among Parkland locals. As the sun set, they shared drinks, conversation, and their first kiss, officially marking the start of their relationship. Victoria had been dropping hints about wanting to get engaged through Instagram posts of rings and TikTok videos of proposals. James, attentive to her desires, chose the most stunning ring she could imagine. During their June cruise, he found the perfect moment. On the second night, after enjoying margaritas at a Latin-themed bar and dancing to a live band, James spotted a photographer. Seizing the opportunity, he dropped to one knee and proposed as the photographer captured the moment. The crowd cheered, and they embraced in a moment of pure joy. In July 2023, James and Victoria moved into their first home together with their cherished dog, Olive, and their playful cat, Mochi. Olive entered Victoria’s life during her first year of college when Victoria spotted her on a local rescues website and sent James a photo. Despite his initial reservations about adopting a dog during college, James soon fell for Olive, who became his loyal companion. Mochi joined their family more recently when James surprised Victoria by accepting a free kitten from a friend. Despite Victoria’s concerns Mochi quickly won Victoria’s heart and proved to be the perfect addition to their furry family. Settling into their new life in Tradition, Port Saint Lucie, James and Victoria are excited to build their future and make lasting memories together. James and Victoria are truly perfect for one another. Neither was actively seeking love, yet the universe brought these two remarkable people together. Victoria adores James for making her feel cherished and valued while motivating her to pursue her goals. His sense of humor illuminates her life, transforming everyday moments into treasured memories. James, in turn, loves Victoria for her unique ability to make him feel understood in a way no one else can. Her laughter is a beacon that brightens his darkest days, and her talent for finding joy in the small things reminds him to savor every moment. As we stand on the brink of this new chapter, we look back with gratitude at the path that led us here. Each shared laugh, every challenge overcome, and the countless moments of joy have strengthened our bond and made our love story uniquely ours.
