Victoria was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. She attended New Mexico Tech, where she earned her bachelor's degrees in Biology and Psychology. After moving to Midland, she returned to school to pursue nursing and now works as an emergency room nurse. In her free time, Victoria enjoys reading, spending time with her many animals, and curling up with a good show or movie. Isai was born and raised in Hobbs, New Mexico. He also attended New Mexico Tech, where he earned his degree in Petroleum Engineering. He now works for Mewbourne Oil Company. When he's not working, Isai enjoys fishing, golfing, and playing tennis.

The beginning of their love story

Victoria and Isai first met during their freshman year at New Mexico Tech. As members of the same friend group, they quickly became close while sharing meals at Chartwells, playing soccer, studying together, and even gathering to watch The Bachelor. Long before their first official date, they found themselves spending more and more time together—whether it was grabbing a Sophia's burrito or studying in the library. Their first official date was a trip to Elephant Butte, followed by a delicious Italian dinner in Truth or Consequences, and from that day forward, their story continued to grow.

The proposal

In 2024, Victoria and Isai traveled to Maui, Hawaii, for what Victoria thought was simply a vacation. While the trip itself wasn't a surprise, the proposal certainly was. Isai arranged for a photographer to capture what Victoria believed would be a casual beach photoshoot. As the photographer directed Victoria to look out toward the ocean, Isai quietly stepped behind her and got down on one knee. When she turned around, she found the love of her life asking her to spend forever by his side. Needless to say, she said yes.
