It's happening!

When I was a Junior in high school and Gami was a Sophomore, we had 5th period Chemistry together (cliche, I know). We hadn't really talked much until the last two weeks of that school year. That's when we actually became good friends. Eventually, school ended and we thought that was it. About a week later, he messaged me on snapchat(!) and from then on, we stayed up late almost every single night throughout that whole summer on FaceTime! Finally, we went on our first date on my 17th birthday and the rest was history!

Back Story...December 22nd of 2015, Gami & I had gone to St. Augustine - our favorite city - and he had given me a promise ring. He told me he was going to marry me one day. Fast forward to December 23rd of 2018, we went back to St. Augustine with our two best friends, Colleen and Sidney. We spent the day going to different museums and sight-seeing but we couldn't go to our favorite place, the Castillo de San Marcos (thanks government shutdown) so we settled on looking over the water right near the Fort on this little walkway. When I turned around, he was down on one knee and asked me to marry him! Obviously, I said YES.
