Flight

Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO)

We recommend flying into Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO), which will be the most convenient airport for travel to our venue. Guest transportation will depart from Rome. If you plan to travel through Italy before the wedding, you are more than welcome to do so. Just please make sure you are back in Rome by Friday, September 25th, as wedding festivities will begin that afternoon and transportation to the venue will depart from Rome.

Shuttle

Rome Departure Shuttle

September 25, 2026 10:00 am - 11:30 am

We will be arranging group transportation from Rome to the venue on Friday, September 25th. Pickup will be from a designated location in Rome (details to come), and the shuttle will travel directly to the villa in Umbria. Wedding festivities will begin that afternoon. If you are unable to join the group shuttle, you are welcome to arrange your own transportation to the venue.

When to Arrive in Italy & Recommendations for Hotels and Activities in Rome

We highly recommend arriving in Italy at least three days prior to the wedding weekend to allow extra time for travel delays and to relax before the celebrations begin. Since guest transportation to the venue will depart from Rome, staying in Rome beforehand is the easiest option. We’ve put together a guide with hotel recommendations and some of our favorite things to do while you're there. We hope this makes planning easier, and gives you the perfect excuse to enjoy a little Roman holiday before the big weekend 🤍

Passport Reminder

Please ensure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates.

Travel Documents

U.S. passport holders do not require a visa for travel to Italy. However, travelers may need to complete a simple online travel authorization (ETIAS) prior to departure. This is a quick and standard entry requirement for many European countries. The application is completed entirely online and typically takes only a few minutes. We recommend completing this soon after booking your flight, and no later than 3–4 weeks before departure. We will continue to monitor travel requirements and provide updates here closer to the trip.
