What airport should I fly into?

The closest airport is Nashville International Airport (BNA). It’s about 25–30 minutes from downtown Nashville and 35–40 minutes from Cherokee Dock Estate, depending on traffic. Uber and Lyft are available, or guests may choose to rent a car.

Cherokee Dock Estate is approximately 28 miles from downtown Nashville and takes 35–40 minutes by car.

Are children invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration with the exception of children in the wedding party and immediate family. We hope this allows everyone to relax and enjoy the evening with us.

Is there parking?

Answer

Yes, there is ample onsite parking at Cherokee Dock Estate. Guests may park directly on the property and follow signage upon arrival. If you plan to use rideshare, Uber and Lyft can drop off directly at the main entrance.

What’s the weather like in August?

Answer

Expect warm Tennessee summer weather. Typically high 80s to low 90s during the day, with cooler temperatures in the evening. Our celebration will be both indoor and outdoor, with a lakeside ceremony and an indoor/outdoor reception. We’ll have shade, fans, and plenty of water available to keep everyone comfortable.

What should I wear?

Answer

Cocktail attire. Dressy and refined, while still comfortable for an outdoor lakeside ceremony and indoor/outdoor reception. Lightweight fabrics, cocktail & summer dresses, jumpsuits, sport coats and comfortable footwear are encouraged for outdoor areas.
