On February 24th, 2023—David’s exact birthday—fate (and maybe a little bit of techno) brought two souls together under a shining disco ball in Hollywood. ✨ The venue? A club called Members. The occasion? David’s birthday night. The unexpected gift? Meeting his future wife for the first time. ♥️ David and his crew were there celebrating and having fun, the way they do. Victoria, along with two of her now-bridesmaids, were dancing and laughing the night away after a Clipper game. Their tables were near each other, and once they locked eyes, Victoria and David finally exchanged a few words in real life (they may have exchanged a few words via IG in the past 😅 ). Victoria, pleasantly surprised by David’s charming Colombian accent, wished him a happy birthday on her way out to the next spot and thought about him in the uber ride there. The next morning at 7am sharp, David sent Victoria a DM saying how nice it was to run into her in LA—especially since she lived in San Diego at the time. It was not long after that David found a perfectly valid reason (a.k.a. a “work trip”) to visit San Diego... and asked her to dinner. The day of their first date, Victoria had butterflies but played it cool, of course, while David anxiously made the trek down to SD. When David texted that he was outside to pick her up, she stepped out and saw only one vehicle waiting: a white Mercedes Sprinter van with the door wide open and David standing outside of it. Very LA. 😆 (In his defense, his car was “in the shop.” Allegedly.) That night, they laughed, danced, and sipped 'mezcal sours' under the stars—and didn’t spend a single moment apart for the next 72 hours. From that weekend on, their connection only deepened. Victoria eventually moved to LA to launch her esthetician career in Beverly Hills and to start a new chapter after years of being a San Diegan. Less than year after that, David asked her to officially move-in and they lived together where they enjoyed decorating their apartment with cool art pieces and patterns, having relaxing Japanese tea ceremonies with their bonsai tree “Juni” - and of course, hosting the occasional afterparty with friends. 🎉 (Fun fact: Kanye West was their neighbor and they once conversed with him about Lentil Soup. Random, we know.) Their love grew stronger with every adventure, from weekend getaways to dream destinations around the globe. And then, in breathtaking Positano, Italy—with their best friends nearby—David got down on one knee. Victoria said yes. 💍 Now, as an engaged couple, they’ve leapt into their next chapter in New York City—David taking on the Big Apple with the Jeeter team, and Victoria living out her dream of a magical year in Manhattan.
