Hours: 9:30 am - 5:00 pm Carillon Historical Park is a beautiful museum that showcases Dayton history. It is the home of the Wright Brothers National Museum, a 1930’s letter print shop, and a Dayton invention themed carousel! You can also grab a bite to eat at Carillon Brewing Co, where they are brewing beer according to methods used in Dayton breweries in the 1800's. If you would like to explore the museum before our wedding, we are providing complimentary admission on June 10th before the wedding begins. You can check in with your name at the front desk.
One of our favorite places to go on a nice summer day. If you’re going to be in the area for multiple days, we recommend spending a day riding roller coasters, playing games on the midway, and eating blue ice cream! They also serve local staples like Skyline Chili, LaRosa’s Pizza and Tom + Chee.
Canala street is a laid back bar and deli that serves delicious sandwiches, salads, and personal pizzas. They also have a variety of retro arcade games and pinball machines to play while you enjoy a drink. Canal Street is very important to both of us because it was the location of our first date! We spent hours getting to know one another here, and we love taking our friends and family here when they are in town. They offer both carry out and dine in options. You can order ahead by calling the number above or by visiting their website. Danny's favorite: A nuclear sub and any of the personal pizzas Tori's favorites:The Summer Jam and The Yellow Springs
One of our favorite local coffeeshops. They offer their own signature house blends which are locally roasted by Cincinnati Deeper Roots Coffee in addition to monthly featured roasters. They also serve handmade pastries that cater to a variety of dietary needs (vegan, gluten-free, allergen friendly).
This dark and sultry underground cocktail bar offers the most unique cocktails and mocktails in town that change with the seasons. Located directly below SUEÑO down the subway stairs off the sidewalk. We recommend the clarified milk punch!
