Chris and I started talking on a dating app in January of 2019. Some time a little later in January, Chris was coming through San Antonio to get a state inspection in Victoria Texas for his Mustang. I agreed to meet him in San Antonio for a date. We ate Red Robin for dinner that night and watched "A Dog's Way Home" at the movies. We also had our 1st kiss that night at the movies. The next day, I once again agreed to see him and hang out with him after getting his inspection done. We hung out as long as we could before he had to go back to West Texas for his job. Following in into February I visited as much as possible driving back and forth to West Texas on the weekends. We started dating on February 22nd of 2019 and the rest is history.

Saturday December 18th of 2021. The day was planned to hang out with our friends and watch "No Way Home" the latest spider man movie. Just a few days before our event "unexpectedly" Chris's brother Rob, wanted to come down to visit before Christmas. So we decided to go to dinner with Rob and his family, and our friends were invited to join us because we still had plans for the movie theater. Before we get to the restaurant, we get into a small little accident in my dad's car. After getting off the phone with my dad telling him that we had a small accident in his car, we pull into the parking lot of the restaurant. Little to my knowledge my family and Chris's family were in the parking lot. I didn't think much to it and we all went inside. Once going inside the restaurant there was a surprise of both my family and his family and our friends were all there. We all get settled in and we order a food and drinks. While we are waiting on our food, Chris's mom Tanya comes over to me and takes my hand. Karen grabs a chair and places it in the middle of the room. I sit down in this chair with my family, Chris's family, and our friends all watching me. Chris's mom Tanya, Chris, and my dad all of a sudden break out into song. Chris proposes at the end of the song, and yes i did say "YES". We all celebrate and enjoy the end of the night at the restaurant and go to the movie theater. We enjoyed our company and the newest Spider-Man movie, being recently engaged and feeling very happy.
