Do we have to sail to go to the wedding?

How far is the port?

Answer

From Lusby, Maryland- 205 miles (3.5 hour drive) From Madison, Ohio- 562 miles ( 9 hour drive) From Heathrow, UK -3750 miles ( 7-8 hour flight) From Delaware- 176 miles (3.5 hour drive)

Will there be food and beverages?

Answer

Yes, we will have an open bar for all of our guests to enjoy complimentary drinks throughout the event as well as a buffet of assorted finger foods.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to the nature of our buffet style catering, we are unable to accommodate individual food allergies or dietary restrictions.

What happens if it rains?

Answer

Rain or shine, the celebration continues! Our venue is located aboard the Carnival Sunshine while it is docked at port. In addition, it will be located inside the Limelight Lounge.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly invite our loved ones to capture the magic of our ceremony with flash-free photography. We can't wait to see our special day through your eyes, so please feel free to snap away and share your beautiful moments with us! #TwoBridesOnTheTide

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

To ensure we can create an intimate and meaningful celebration, we kindly request that only guests specifically named on your invitation attend. We appreciate your understanding as we carefully plan our special day.

Can I bring Marijuana or CBD on the cruise ship?

Answer

Even though THC and CBD may be legal in Virginia, they are strictly prohibited on the cruise ship. The strict security screening will prevent these items from being brought onboard. Please leave all of these items in the car to prevent any delays in boarding.

What kind of food will be provided?

Answer

Our wedding menu will feature a delightful variety of culinary options, including vegetarian, seafood, and non-seafood dishes to ensure every guest finds something delicious to enjoy.

How will I get on the ship?

Answer

If you are a guest who will be sailing, you will be emailed a boarding pass within two days of sailing. You will be required to print and bring this document, as well as your passport or birth certificate and a State ID. For non-sailing guests- You are required to bring a photo State-ID. Children without a picture ID card, you must present their birth certificate upon boarding.
