We're Getting Married!

As we do every Fourth of July, we went home to visit my parents on the East Coast. We were on the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum in New York City, which is one of his favorite places in New York with my sister and her fiance. My sister asked to take a photo of the two of us with the NYC skyline in the background and when I went to turn and grab him to get ready for the photo, he was down on one knee, and asked me to marry him. Not only did I feel blessed to have my sister and her fiance there, but my mom and dad were waiting outside of the museum and surprised us as we walked out! Our celebration continued with a family dinner and Italian style cookies and cheesecake from the bakery (my favorite!) We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
