Got Questions? We’ve Got You! We’re so excited to celebrate with you and want to make things as easy as possible. We’ve put together this FAQ to answer some questions about the day; if you still have questions, just reach out!

Where can we park?

Answer

Please note that there is no on-site parking at La Jolla Cove Rooftop, and the hotel valet parking is reserved for hotel guests only. Street parking in the area is very limited and typically restricted by time limits, so it is not a reliable option for the duration of the wedding. We strongly recommend planning to park in one of the nearby public parking structures and allowing extra time to arrive and walk to the venue. Nearby parking garages within walking distance include: • ACE Parking – 1200 Prospect St • Premium Parking – 1166 Prospect St • LAZ Parking – 1250 Prospect St • LAZ Parking – 1111 Prospect Ave All are located along or just off Prospect Street and are a short walk to the venue. Rideshare services such as Uber or Lyft are also convenient options. We suggest also visiting lajollabythesea.com for parking options and deals.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony starts promptly at 4:00 PM. We recommend arriving by 3:30 to 3:45 PM to allow time for parking, seating, and settling in comfortably before the celebration begins. We can’t wait to share this special moment with you!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Adults Only! While we love your children, our venue and plans are best suited for an adult-only celebration. We hope this advance notice allows you time to make childcare arrangements and enjoy the night out with us.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly ask you to RSVP as soon as possible, and no later than May 12, so we can finalize our plans and make sure everything is perfect for the big day. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift! If you’d like to give something, we kindly ask for donations to our Down Payment Fund or Honeymoon Fund, both conveniently located right here on our wedding website. Thank you for helping us start this new chapter together!

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes, we will have an open bar for all of our guests to enjoy complimentary drinks throughout the event.

What is the dress code?

Coastal Formal — We’re celebrating above the ocean at La Jolla Cove with a dressy but relaxed coastal vibe. Suits with or without ties, cocktail or long dresses are all welcome. Our wedding accent color is French blue and a photo of the venue can be found in the Venue tab to help guide your look. Wear what feels right to you.

We’ll be serving a buffet-style dinner, with appetizers and dessert available throughout the night. Check back on the wedding website as we get closer for updated menu details!
