Temecula Valley is the wine country of Southern California and has many great outdoor locations to enjoy wine, food & company.  Old Town Temecula, separate location down the way from wine country, has great shopping and food. Temecula is little over an hour distance inland from San Diego, Los Angeles, Orange County and Palm Springs.

Wilson Creek is a beautiful vineyard that is great for first time visitors to the area. If you'd like to wine taste, I'd recommend trying this spot and going from there.
