It all started with a swipe — we matched on Bumble on March 13, 2024. What began as a few exchanged messages quickly moved to texting, where we discovered an instant connection. One of the first things we bonded over was that we had both attended AC/DC’s 2009 Black Ice Tour — Clearly, we were meant to be. Our first date was at an intimate Italian restaurant called Caffé Nonna. As we sat down, an older couple next to us struck up a conversation and called us an “attractive couple,” asking how long we’d been together. We smiled, knowing the answer was: about five minutes. From dinner, we moved on to drinks — and six hours later, we were still talking, still laughing, and already feeling like we had found exactly what we’d been looking for. Over the next 365 days, we experienced so much life together. We explored our city, traveled, met each other’s families and friends, and purchased our first home. It felt like a whirlwind — and yet, like we’d known each other forever. Everything about it felt natural. On April 11, 2025 — our one-year dating anniversary — Benjamin proposed on Lookout Mountain in the most private, romantic setting. We are beyond thrilled to continue growing together, and we can’t wait to celebrate becoming husband and wife with all of our loved ones!
