Victoria and Asher attended the same high school and knew of each other, but her protective brother kept his friends at a distance. In 2019, they had their first real interaction and immediately sensed a connection. However, fear of the distance between them posed a challenge, as Asher was just beginning his naval flight training in Pensacola, FL, and Victoria was in her sophomore year at CSU-Pueblo. While neither of them could see the path forward, God had other plans. Fast forward to 2022, their paths crossed again, and the chemistry was undeniable. Everyone around them saw their connection and knew the end result was inevitable. A week later, Victoria booked a flight to Jacksonville, FL, and they had their first date in St. Augustine. They sat by the fort, talking for hours about how to make their relationship work. They decided to take a leap of faith and managed a long-distance relationship for six months, spent three months together, and then endured another six months apart during Asher's deployment. Their journey has been nothing short of a fairy tale. On February 13, 2023, Asher proposed to Victoria, and she gave the easiest "yes" ever.
