Victoria and Alex met like any other millennial couple, on a dating app, in August of 2017. Alex had been living in San Francisco for two years working in Sales, and Victoria had been living in the city for a year working for a footwear company. Alex took Victoria on their first date to a local wine bar, where they enjoyed a bottle of wine and a cheeseboard. They talked for over 3 hours and quickly realized all the things they had in common. They ended their date like true Texans, at a country bar, drinking Shiner Beers. In one night they quickly realized they'd each found their "other half". They've been inseparable ever since.
After two years of dating in the city, Alex and Victoria both knew their next chapter was back home in Texas. In June of 2019 they packed up their tiny car and made Austin, Texas their new home. A few months later on November 30th 2019, Alex surprised Victoria with an afternoon in his hometown, The Woodlands. He drove her to a private neighborhood gazebo looking over Lake Woodlands. It was a special spot where Alex used to visit when he was younger to go and think about his future life, and all he wanted to accomplish. He got down on one knee with a bottle of champagne, and asked Victoria to be his wife. He then surprised her with an afternoon with both of their families, and spent the rest of the day celebrating the joining of their two lives.
