We're getting married!

Alan and Victoria met through one of those lovely dating apps. They first met at a little cafe in West Hartford for crepes and coffee. They spent the rest of the morning wandering around West Hartford before Alan had to head to work. When the first date came to a close Alan asked Victoria to go on a second date the next day. They explored Mystic Aquarium and ended the day with some pizza. From the second date they truly found their person and the rest was history.

With our long awaited trip to Disney cancelled (thanks to the pandemic), Alan and Victoria were itching for a little getaway after a year apart. One of Victoria and Alan's favorite places to visit is Martha's Vineyard. When their friends Alexa and Logan suggested a weekend trip to Cape Cod they jumped at the opportunity at a weekend away with great friends! The weather was a perfect mid 70s with beautiful sunshine. We began the trip with a bike ride from one end of Martha's Vineyard to the other, with Edgartown Lighthouse as our goal. When we got to the lighthouse Alexa insisted on a little photoshoot of Alan and Victoria. After a few pictures Victoria turned around to find Alan on one knee asking for her to marry him! She was absolutely surprised because he kept insisting a proposal wouldn't happen until they got back from living in Alabama for a year. Victoria of course said yes and the rest is history!
