We had just finished a Discipleship Intensive with WinShape and our leaders wanted to hang out. We had decided on meeting at Top Golf on the west side. Aidan was the first one to get there and I arrived a little after he did. Cupid had hit with his arrow! Once we found a place for the whole group to sit at Aidan says he specifically looked for a seat next to me. We talked and hung out all night. I was the oblivious one.

We had already been talking for a couple of months. He had invited me to a worship night at Del Sol. My parents weren't going to let me go at first since they hadn't met Aidan. Aidan had suggested coming to my house earlier so they could all meet, that made me like him even more. After we had gone to the worship night on the way to drop me off, Aidan had said "I like you, like a lot" and that has been our saying ever since. We went on our first date on October 1, 2022.

We had just celebrated two years together and I was already starting to wonder when he was going to ask me. We had already talked about getting married, but I had a hunch of when he was going to do it. He had bought me tickets to see Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets at the Plaza and I was sure he was going to pop the question after that, but I was wrong. The next day we were planning to take family pictures. Aidan's friends, Celeste and Mando (one of the groomsmen), were taking the pictures of the family and they told me and Aidan to pose separately. Mando told Aidan to tell me "the nicest thing in the world you've ever wanted to tell her" and that is when he got down on one knee.
