💕 Our Story: How did you two meet? Like many modern couples, our journey began online, quickly blossoming into something truly special. Our first date was an unforgettable adventure-- strolling through downtown Bathhouse Row and exploring the breathtaking Hot Springs National Park. Dustin's charming insistence on capturing our moment with Old Time Portraits led to a delightful experience. I chose the Gangster and Barmaid theme, and he looked incredibly handsome! This magical first date serves as the inspiration for our wedding in Eureka Springs...
📋 Our Wedding Plans: Why did you decide to keep the ceremony intimate? After careful consideration, we initially planned for a simple and intimate wedding, focusing on just the two of us. However, as we realized how much we wanted to share this special moment with our loved ones, we happily decided to invite our closest family and friends to join us in Eureka Springs. We believe that celebrating our love surrounded by those who mean the most to us will make our day even more memorable. Our goal is to create beautiful memories together while still investing in a lovely honeymoon. What matters most to us is the love we share and the joy of having our loved ones witness our commitment.
🌿 The Ceremony at Crescent Spring We are thrilled to hold our ceremony at Crescent Spring in charming downtown Eureka Springs. This site was once revered for its healing waters and features a picturesque ornate wood gazebo with copper clad roof constructed in 1886. Although the spring is now dry, it was one of the most popular sources on Spring Street, prompting the addition of a sheltering gazebo to enhance its beauty. The gazebo is a visual delight, showcasing a graceful flared copper roof and two tiers separated by narrow circular windows, all supported by wooden X-trusses. Surrounded by beautifully landscaped areas, stone steps on the north side lead up the hillside to the Crescent Hotel. As we exchange our vows in this stunning setting, we embrace the rich history that symbolizes renewal and the promise of our future together. We can't wait to share this heartfelt moment with our loved ones, surrounded by the natural beauty of the Crescent Spring in the heart of Historic Eureka Springs. Our Attire: I will wear a lovely dusty plum velvet dress with a delicate lace underskirt peeking out, paired with tall suede boots. My jewelry includes a stunning abalone statement necklace with matching earrings. My engagement ring is a dainty vintage inspired amethyst solitaire in sterling silver, and my wedding band is a delicate art deco stack encrusted with amethysts. Dustin will be dashing in a brown wool tweed 3-piece suit, paired with a white collared shirt, topped off with a stylish pageboy cap. His ring features an art deco design in sterling silver with encrusted amethyst accents. After the ceremony, we'll enjoy a little cake and non-alcoholic toast at a nearby picnic area, celebrating our love and this beautiful journey together. We look forward to creating wonderful memories with all of you!
📸 Our Afterparty Photoshoot To beautifully bookend our courtship, we chose to celebrate with a fun photoshoot at Judge Roy Beans Old Time Photos & Weddings, right after our intimate ceremony at Calif Spring. It was a perfect way to capture the essence of our love! After exchanging vows, we'll take a leisurely stroll just a couple of blocks (about a 12 minute flat walk) down the street for our 1920s themed photoshoot! I'm bringing my own plum sequined gown with a floor length chiffon skirt, complete with elbow length gloves and all the accessories. Dustin will add some flair to his tweed suit and pageboy cap and pocket watch, transforming into a dapper gentleman of the era. The warmly invite our wedding party to join us! For a $20 sitting fee each, you can join the photo shoot with prints available for $20 per 8x10 and a $10 costume fee each- if you wish to use the venue's costumes. If you'd like to bring your own costume, I suggest Rose Gold and Brown Tweed or Herringbone to coordinate with our theme. Please let us know at least 2 weeks in advance as the venue closes at 5pm and we want to ensure everything is in place for a fantastic experience!
🍻 Dinner Plans After all the fun at the photoshoot, we invite you to join us (still in costume!) as we stroll across the street to the Pied Piper Inn and Cat House Lounge. The menu offers a casual bar and grill atmosphere with entree prices range from $10 to $20, according to their website. Please be prepared to cover your own bill.

🚗 Parking Options Our wedding day takes place across several downtown spots, and the easiest way to connect them is by trolley. Here’s how to plan your parking: 📍 Main Street Parking Route From the top of Planer Hill to the Railway Depot, this 2-mile stretch has 600+ spaces (city + private lots). Best choice if you’re catching the trolley. 🏛️ Transit & Welcome Center / Downtown Trolley Depot All routes run through here. Park here for $5/day, then buy a $6 Red Route pass for unlimited rides. This is the simplest, most reliable option. 🌿 Spring Street Parking City meters available (pay with the PassPort app). Limited spaces—better for quick stops, not the wedding day schedule. ✨ Tips for Guests • Please plan to arrive at the Downtown Depot by 12:15–12:30. This gives you enough time to park, buy your pass, and board the trolley. • Ceremony starts promptly at 1:30 PM at Crescent Spring. • If you’re staying downtown or near a trolley stop, leave your car behind and ride. • Wear comfortable shoes for hills and trolley stops. 🎯 Best Choice by Event • Ceremony at Crescent Spring: Park at the Depot → buy pass → take Red Route up Spring Street. • Judge Roy Bean’s Photoshoot: Stay parked downtown—you’ll already be in the right place. • Dinner at Pied Piper: Also downtown, just a short walk from Judge Roy Bean’s. • Excursion Train Ride (Friday): Park directly at the Railway Depot. 💡 If All Else Fails Don’t panic—just find any open spot downtown and hop the trolley. That’s what it’s there for!
🍴 Food Details The only food we are serving is vegan cupcakes and sparkling tea (like a non-alcohol tea champagne). Maybe some vegan cookies? If you decide to join us at the Pied Piper Inn and Cat House Lounge afterward (At your own expense), they serve typical pub fare.
🎶 Ceremony Music We are thrilled to share the beautiful music that will accompany us as we exchange vows on our special day. Each piece has been carefully chosen to create a meaningful atmosphere filled with love and celebration. To set the tone, we will begin our ceremony with an acoustic cover of "Songbird" by Fleetwood Mac. This song holds a special place in our hearts, as we both adore Fleetwood Mac. The acoustic rendition aligns perfectly with the guitar theme we envision for our ceremony, making it a heartfelt start to our celebration. As we step into our vows, we will incorporate a stunning acoustic rendition of "Kintail/Calliope House." This piece creates a serene backdrop, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the moment. "Return to Kintail," often played as a waltz, has been beautifully performed as an Air by Steven Wake, adding a gentle and soothing quality to our exchange. "Calliope House" is included in this version - a lively jig composed by Dave Richardson, and "The Humors of Tulla," a traditional Irish reel that enriches our musical tapestry. To close our ceremony, we will feature an acoustic version of "For Once In My Life" by Stevie Wonder. This song beautifully captures the essence of our unlikely union, reflecting how we have finally found each other despite the differences in our age and backgrounds. As we embark on this remarkable journey together, the music we have selected is not just a backdrop but a reflection of our love story. Each song resonates with our shared memories and the unique bond we've forged. From the serene notes of "Kintail/Calliope House" to the heartfelt melodies of "Songbird." every piece echoes the essence of our relationship. We are excited to share this musical journey with you, our family and friends, as we celebrate our union and the beautiful adventure that lies ahead.
⏰ When should I arrive? Please plan to be at the Downtown Trolley Depot by 12:30–12:45 PM on Thursday. Ceremony starts promptly at 1:30 PM.
🚍 How do I get to the ceremony? Park at the Downtown Trolley Depot ($5/day), buy a $6 Red Route pass, and ride up Spring Street to Crescent Spring.
👗 What should I wear? Think cozy fall boho! Burnt orange, deep teal, purples, browns. Warm layers and comfortable shoes for hills/trolley. For the Photoshoot: The theme: 1920s “Peaky Blinders” Glam Meets Boho Chic | Think rose gold flapper dresses, tweed vests, gloves, suspenders, & feathered hairpieces! Dress up and step back in time with us for some truly unforgettable shots. Bring your own costume or rent one from the studio when you arrive (they’re around $10). We’re bringing a few of our own, but if you’d like outfit links—we’ve got you!
📸 Can I take photos during the ceremony? Absolutely! This is a low-budget ceremony, and our officiant is also our photographer — so please just be respectful as you snap away… and don’t forget to send us copies! 😜 🎥 Bonus: If anyone feels like capturing video with their phone, we’d love that too!
