FAQs

Question

Can you tell me more about the dress code?

Answer

We want you to feel great! Embrace the bougie, whimsical nature of your hosts and wear something that makes you feel fabulous. We suggest skipping the high heels, our dance floor will be cobblestone-esque and we do not want anyone to sprain an ankle. It will be October, so we will either be freezing or cursing the unseasonably warm weather. We suggest bringing an outfit for either possibility if you're traveling to join us.

Question

Should I avoid wearing white?

Answer

While we appreciate you refraining from wearing white, ladies are asked to avoid wearing all-black ensembles. Ladies who show up in all black are subject to wearing ridiculous scarves during the event. Please note this does not apply to anyone choosing to wear a black suit, although we appreciate you wearing grey or dark blue suits if these are available to you.

Question

Is there parking at Iron Gate?

Answer

Parking near the venue is extremely limited. We suggest utilizing the metro, Uber, Lyft, or other rideshare services to get to and from Iron Gate.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

No. No one under the age of 21 will be admitted to the event.

Question

Are you having a bridal shower?

Answer

We have an established household, so we're skipping a shower. If you're feeling extra generous, you're welcome to contribute to our house down payment fund!
