We met at Lawrence's birthday party at Cameron's house in Alamo through a mutual friend. I remember meeting Lawrence and their band, Phoenix Ash, that day and commenting on how they sounded like Linkin Park. After the party was over, Lawrence messaged me on Facebook to get my contact information and that's where we started talking to each other.

On the day of his birthday, we decided to go to French Laundry in Yountville to celebrate an early Anniversary of us dating for 4 years. Little did I know, he was planning for months to propose on this day. I remember us walking to the garden of French Laundry (that's where he wanted to propose) and we saw the garden in the process of being worked on. He started panicking and wasn't sure where to propose. We then had dinner with our friends and he again decided he wanted to propose at the garden since it was quieter. We walked over to the garden, and all of a sudden, he held my hand. He started saying something like I am really happy and want you to be in my life (I couldn't remember what he said exactly because he said everything really quickly). He then got down on one knee and asked "Will you marry me?" I was so surprised and I said "YES." We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Capitola!
