we're getting married

Carson and I first met at Crunch Fitness, where he came up to talk to me as we finished our workouts — which is shocking if you know him, because he’s usually very shy. We had our first date later that week: dinner, then Top Golf (We played four games and each won two... later on, we played a tie breaker of Wii Golf, where Carson, unfortunately, destroyed me). Neither of us wanted the night to end, so we grabbed ice cream, headed back to my apartment, and finished the night watching Spider-Man 3. At the time, I was wrapping up PA school and Carson was in Baton Rouge taking extra classes while applying to medical school. He was easy to love, dependable, kind, and gentle. I knew I was home. Within two weeks of our first date, I told one of my best friends that I was going to marry him. I like to tell everyone that I met Carson the day after getting back from a trip to Boston, where I had decided I was going to move once I finished PA school. I like to think of it as God telling me that he had something bigger in store for me. I wouldn't change it for the world! - Vic <3 I first saw Victoria at Crunch fitness in Baton Rouge across the gym when I was about to start my workout. I’m not one to go up and talk to people but something in me said I had to go talk to her so I did and I’ve been crazy about her ever since. I remember talking to my dad just a few minutes later that evening, telling him I met a 10/10. Victoria and I went on a date just a couple days later and had a great time together. It felt like we were pretty inseparable soon after that. From playing volleyball with friends to just studying at the house together, it always just felt easy and right with her. Victoria naturally lights up every room she walks into. She’s full of love and joy and she brings that out of everyone she’s around. Victoria makes me want to be the best version of myself and I couldn’t ask for a better partner in life. God knew exactly what he was doing when he crossed our paths together and I can’t wait to see what all is in store for us. - Carson
