We’re getting married!

I never thought I'd be writing a story of my journey to meeting my future wife, but God works in mysterious ways. I'm not good with dates, so all I know is that we met officially at a Sunday service at her church some years ago. I wasn't really looking for anybody and even after meeting her, still wasn't interested. A few outings later with mutual friends from church, we started to slowly talk to each other. I still had no feelings towards Suzy, but she seemed like good company. My grandmother would always tell me that God would put my wife in front of me, so what I did was wait and pray. I had no intentions of getting into a relationship right away. The moment came one weeknight service at my church where we shared a moment together just talking for hours. We talked about everything in just one night. Till this day people will tell you that I take my time with anything that involves change, so me being me, and despite having that amazing moment, I didn't even get her phone number that night. Long story short, a mutual friend of ours had to step in to get us to exchange numbers. Ever since that night we've been inseparable. We talk about everything and do everything together. She's been my best friend and my rock since day 1. -Victor

Telling our story is always such a fun memory for me to re-live. Victor began to visit my church about 3 years ago, every now and then he'd show up on Sunday's and we would hang out in group outings after church. He began to be a lot more consistent with showing up to our Sunday Services (lol). Our mutual friends began to pursue me and Victor as a couple. It was a Tuesday night, I visited his church and after the service went to eat, fast forward to the end of the night, Victor walked me to my car and that was the beginning of everything, We talked for hours, from parents to siblings, to jobs, to childhoods, to church and anything you can possibly think of. It was so easy talking to him and just when I thought we had something he leaves without asking for my number. (FAIL!!) He insists it was done on purpose ( I think he didn't know how lol).. Numbers are eventually exchanged, he asked me on our first date, fast forward to 3 years later, what was the worst year for many, was the beginning of our story. I get to marry a one of a kind man and I cannot wait! P.S. Major shoutout to Ivan and Vero for introducing me to my soon-to-be husband. -Suzy
