What is the address of the wedding venue?
Answer
501 Union Street, Brooklyn, NY 11231. Yes, the name of the venue is also their address!!
Question
Are there any hotel blocks available?
Answer
We have 3 hotel blocks available and they can be found under the travel and accommodations tab. You are also welcome to find lodging outside of these blocks.

Is there parking at the venue?
Answer
The venue does not have a parking lot, so we ask that you plan accordingly. Street parking is available, but since Gowanus has been experiencing a lot of construction, it may be difficult. There is a QuikPark garage located at 365 Bond Street, which is approximately a four (4) minute walk from the venue. You can also walk from your hotels, take public transport, or use a ride-sharing service.

How do I get to and from the hotel to the venue?
Answer
The Fairfield Marriot is an 8 min walk or short car ride away. The EVEN Hotel and Hilton are both a 10 min car ride, 18 min walk, or you can take the G train.

The Wedding Ceremony and Reception are Indian or Western Formal

What time should I arrive for the wedding ceremony?
Answer
We respectfully ask that you please arrive promptly at 12:45pm to ensure our wedding festivities can begin on time at 1:00pm.

Why is the ceremony in the early afternoon?
Answer
In Hindu culture, a couple is encouraged to get married at an auspicious time. We are very grateful that you are choosing to respect this tradition and join us for our ceremony in the early afternoon!

Will lunch be provided?
Answer
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide lunch, so we ask that you eat something before or after the ceremony. Right after the ceremony we will have snacks available for you!

Will dinner be provided?

A full Indian dinner will be served at the reception, so please come hungry!

What do I do between the wedding and reception?
Answer
Between the wedding and reception, you will be able to return to your accommodations to rest up and change clothes for the reception if you would like. We ask that you please allocate time to return to the venue promptly at 6:30pm.
