It feels like something straight out of a modern-day romance. We met on Hinge during COVID, both swiping right, and instantly felt that connection. Our conversations were effortless, and we even dreamed up the perfect meal we’d cook for each other—right down to the wine we’d share. Ironically, we never actually ended up making that meal, but the thought was sweet, and it set the tone for everything to come.
Fast forward three years, and there we were in Mexico City, soaking up the sights, the food, and—let’s be honest—way too many tacos. On our last day, as we headed back to the hotel, Victor chose the most perfect moment to ask me the question that brings us here today ......
