How I Met My Queen: A Love Story Born in Church I cherish the memory of how I met my wife, and it's a story I love sharing. It's also one of the reasons why House On The Rock holds a special place in my heart. It was a typical Wednesday midweek service when our paths crossed. As fate would have it, I was seated directly in front of the minister leading the session. During the service, we were asked to turn to our neighbors and welcome them with a warm compliment. That's when I saw her – a beautiful, calm, and serene presence sitting behind me. In that instant, I knew I had found my wife. I turned to my friend, who was also in church, and exclaimed, 'Bro, I've found my diamond in the trenches!' Little did I know that my words would become a prophetic declaration. Thirty-six months later, that beautiful damsel became my wife. It's a testament to the power of faith and speaking life into our desires. I'm grateful for that chance encounter, and I cherish our love story, which began in the unlikeliest of places – God presence.

How did we meet? Hmm, it's actually funny, but we met in church (House on the Rock) on a Wednesday, to be precise. I remember it like it was yesterday. My sister and I were to go home after the mid-week service, and as usual, from where we come from, our pastor takes us home when we don't come with our parents. So, I thought our pastor would take us home, told my sister to ask the pastor, and she said, "Why her?" that I should do it, and so I did. Apparently, Pastor had left, so he drove back in and pulled up his stunts as he would usually, but he still shouted and yelled out, "Victor Maurice, come and take these small children home; they think they're in their Abakaliki church!" And to me, it was funny, but what mattered was that we got home safely as the baby girls that we were. Anyway, my husband pulled up as my knight in shining armor, but little did I know that God was setting me up to meet my prince charming forever in this lifetime.
