Where is the wedding? Where is the reception?

The wedding and reception will both be held at Winfrey Point at White Rock Lake (950 E Lawther Dr, Dallas, TX 75218).

How do I get there? Can I just use GPS to find it?

Answer

Do not use GPS to get to the venue. The GPS will take you to a road that wraps around the lake. That road has impassable roadblocks every quarter mile and you'll almost certainly be very late and miss all the fun. Here are some directions to ensure that you make it to the right place :) Navigate to the intersection of Garland Rd. & Emerald Isle Dr., follow the road straight, and turn left just past the baseball field onto Winfrey Point Dr. If you are prone to misdirection, use the GPS to navigate to Hypnotic Donuts (9007 Garland Rd., Dallas, TX 75218) which is conveniently at the corner of Garland Rd. and Emerald Isle Dr. There is only one way to go on Emerald Isle Dr. Follow that road straight to the fun :)

What time will the ceremony start? Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 6 p.m. The ceremony will be outdoors and the reception will be indoors. Ladies, the ceremony will be on grass so keep that in mind when considering your shoes.

What's for dinner? What if I am gluten-free/vegetarian/etc?

Answer

We are serving appetizers and a buffet dinner. The entree will be beef. If you have any specific concerns, dietary restrictions, or allergies, please include that information when you RSVP so we can accommodate your needs.

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes. We will have a bar and complimentary beer, wine, and cocktails. The bartender will ask for ID. No outside alcohol is permitted at the event. A police officer will also be on site. Make good choices!

What time is the reception scheduled to end?

Answer

We will be leaving between 10:00 pm and 10:30 p.m.. You should expect to leave by 11:00 pm to allow for the clean up crew to do their thing. However, you are all welcome to keep celebrating elsewhere as late as you'd like.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, parking is available at the venue at no cost.
