Victor and Blanca met at one of their favorite places on earth, White Memorial Medical Center. They have a mutual coworker and now mutual friend named Sonia who started working in the GI unit with Blanca then transferred to the ER where Victor worked. One day, Sonia was telling Victor all about her former nurse buddy and Victor was intrigued. It was arranged for them to meet at a birthday party but, due to some unforeseen circumstances, they were unable to meet that night. But Victor was determined, so weeks later after a class, he decided to go up to Blanca’s unit with his buddies. At last, the two met, they exchanged numbers and went on their first date a few days later. Well, Victor thought it was their first date but, to his surprise, a date to Blanca is when she is picked up at her front door. So, the next day, Victor drove 50 miles to go on their first date and has never stopped. Two and a half years later the two have decided to become one in the presence of their family and friends.
