Becca and Victor first met on Tinder back in February of 2021. They quickly bonded over The Office, witty banter, and the fact that Victor is a PA, just like Becca's sister. They took things offline and their first date was on February 20th at the Starbucks in Cleveland Circle in Brighton, Massachusetts. Becca was about 15 minutes late to their date because she didn't gauge how far her walk from her apartment would be to Starbucks. (To her luck, Victor waited for her and was understanding.) Becca ordered a chai latte and Victor got black coffee, and they sat on a bench overlooking the snowy Chestnut Hill Reservoir. They talked about family, work, friends, travel, favorite movies, music, and so much more. Not wanting the date to end, they walked to Barcelona Wine Bar and sat outside in the freezing cold and drank red sangria and ate patatas bravas. They continued to talk, laugh, and share for hours, until the sun started to set. Becca offered to split the bill, but Victor said, "No, you can get the next one." After that first date, Becca and Victor's bond grew stronger over Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles, true crime, horror movies, Thai food, sushi, and travel. After many dinner and movie dates at their respective apartments (yay for a pandemic romance), they finally made their relationship official on May 12, 2021. Becca and Victor have since traveled together to Ireland, Scotland, Italy, Greece, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Colorado, North Carolina, Florida, and all over New England. They moved in together in September of 2023, and in January of 2024, they adopted their adorable black cat Minerva "Minnie" June Simas-Luu. Becca and Victor have been there for each other through thick and thin over the past 5 years, and they cannot wait to share their love with you in May!
