I was working a flight from San Francisco to Austin When we pulled the drink cart up, he was the first person I was serving. I couldn't take my eyes off him, I just thought he was so handsome. I offered him a drink and he asked for water so I prodded him again asking if he wanted anything else to drink, (I wanted to give the cute guy a free drink!) he said no thanks so I moved on serving. I would walk by and smile and he came back to the bathroom at one point, but I was bummed he didn't stop to chat. I told the other flight attendant I was going to give him my number right before landing. I wrote down my number on a Bombay Sapphire mini and at the end of the flight, I handed it to him saying, "this is for if you want a real drink." He texted me when we landed and we met up later on at my layover hotel. He kissed me for the first time in the swimming pool that night in Austin that night and the rest is history.

Victor had many different plans on how he was going to propose but I inadvertently messed them all up without knowing! Him, his daughter, Nyima, and I were all hanging out at home one night and Nyima asked me if I wanted to go to Michael's to get some arts and crafts. Little did I know she was keeping me out of the house while Victor set up for the proposal. I came back and he told me to close my eyes and he set me up in the middle of the living room and when I opened my eyes he was down on one knee!
