FAQs

If you have any questions other than those listed here, please reach out to the Mother of the Bride: Florence Lawton (909) 289-3822
Question

Where is the ceremony and reception?

Answer

The ceremony will take place at Redlands SDA Church. The reception will take place at The Mitten Building, which is about a 3-5 minute drive from the church. The Mitten Building is the large red brick building on the West side of Fifth Street.

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 2 pm. We kindly ask that our guests arrive at 1:30 pm to allow enough time to park and find your seat so we can start the service on time.

Question

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

The RSVP deadline is Monday, August 15, 2022. Please let us know as soon as possible if you are able or unable to attend the festivities so we may plan accordingly.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress attire is formal. If you would like to dress similarly to our wedding colors, they are: wisteria/lilac, mauve, and neutral green and creams.

Question

Can I bring a plus one or my kids?

Answer

Due to limited space, we can only accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, this will appear under your name when you RSVP. As for kids, this will be an adult only wedding aside from kids selected to be in our ceremony. Consider this a date night!

Question

Is there parking on site?

Answer

Yes, free parking is available at both venues, but spaces are limited. For the ceremony at Redlands Church, aside from a small parking lot behind the church, it is mainly street parking. For the reception at the Mitten, guests may park in the lots directly across Fifth Street to the East. There are also lots south of the Mitten Building with additional spaces. We recommend carpooling to save gas and help with limited parking.

Question

What are the COVID-19 requirements?

Answer

Despite loosened restrictions, we ask that all attendees practice due diligence before attending and during the celebrations. This includes taking a test if you are not feeling well or had a potential exposure. If you have tested positive for COVID, we do ask that you keep others safe by not attending. Additionally, should the venues have their own guidelines, we ask that you follow them so we can focus and enjoy on the celebration at hand!
