We're getting married!

It all started years ago at Warped Tour, where Jake first met Vicki alongside her sister Rhiannon, who happened to be Jakes classmate at Rose-Hulman. Sparks didn't fly then, but fate had other plans... Fast forward to 2022, when Jake, feeling nostalgic and a bit adventurous, slid into Vicki’s DMs on twitter. He invited her to a concert, hoping to recreate their warped tour vibes. Vicki couldn't make it to the concert, so they ended up at a nearby bar playing pool instead. This time they clicked instantly!

It was a typical evening at home, when Jake got bored and had a brilliant idea involving Gremlin (Vicki's cat) and disappeared with her down to his dungeon. Later he emerged with Gremlin sporting a tiny box around her neck. "Open it"... he says nervously. Vicki, in complete disbelief that this is the moment (her nails not done) opens the tiny box and gasps at the beautiful ring in front of her. "Marry me?" Jake asked, with a mix of nerves and excitement. But Gremlin had other ideas and bolted off with the ring! Vicki, torn between laughter and panic, chased Gremlin around the house until she finally cornered her. With Gremlin in her arms and the ring safely on her finger, Vicki wasted no time in saying yes. (JK it took her until her 3rd facetime announcing they were engaged...)
