We met during freshman orientation at Texas State University in San Marcos! We lived one floor apart from each other in Jackson Hall and attended many of the same classes together, so it didn't take long for us to become close friends, start dating, and fall in love!

At home on Christmas morning, Michael surprised Vickie with a wall covered in printed photos- 200 pictures from the past 10 years of being together! But it was more than an extravagant wall decoration, all of the photos spelled out "MARRY ME" and he dropped down to one knee! It was the MARRIEST Christmas morning ever!
