On September 15th, 2016 pop punk sensations Blink-182 made their way to Boise, ID to play at Taco Bell Arena. They both had floor tickets. As the doors opened and everyone was let in, they happen to land right next to each other in the front row. William tries to make conversation, but Vicki is naturally pretty shy so she doesn't say much. After the show, they parted ways. Fast forward 2 days later, William recognized Vicki at the mall in Gamestop and said, “Hey, You're the chick with the big hair at the Blink show right?” It was there where they actually had a conversation about music and added each other on Facebook. William needed a Graphic Designer for We Were Giants, the band he managed at the time. From there, they worked together and became good friends. They often snuck in the BRC at Boise State University for some free food (thanks Scott) On November 29th, 2016 they went to top of table rock and the botanical garden to see Christmas lights as a first date. (Vicki had NO idea it was a date. Thought they were just hanging out.) On December 12th, William got tickets to a Free X Show, The Kyle Gass Band (AKA the other half of Tenacious D). That was the night it became official. After 5 years of many concerts, including, a 3 day festival, and a dog, William proposed on October 27th 2021 in the middle of a pumpkin patch. Here's to many more fun adventures to come.
