Vicki moved to Denver in the fall of 2018 into an apartment downtown. Little did she know her future husband was living just one floor up from her. Through friends, Vicki and Ryan met just two weeks later and the rest is history.

On a warm Friday in October, Ryan suggested they go on a sunset hike (Vicki’s favorite) and then out to a nice dinner. She was ecstatic. They drove up to Lookout Mountain, the same area they had one of their very first dates. It was incredibly windy, but they made their way up a hill to a secluded spot to watch the sunset. Ryan put his arms around Vicki and asked if she knew why they were there and began to tell her all the things he loved about her. He got down on one knee and asked her to spend the rest of her life with him. Best day ever.
